Ezekiel katende’s lone strike in the 60th was enough to seal it off for UPDF FC, increasing their hopes for survival.

Both teams played to a barren first half creating very few chances that could yield positive results.

In the 40th minute Douglas Owori almost broke the dread lock for BUL FC but Bashir Sekagya was too good and organised to let him break through.

On coming back in the 55th minute Sydney Senyonga was withdrawn for Abdunoor Lukwata and this piled more misery on BUL defenders as they were left to defend for survival his partnership with Ezkiel Katende was unbearable.

Joseph Jjanjali should be blamed for failing to double for the hosts in the 61st minute after shooting wide with only the keeper to beat.

With 26 games played by either sides UPDF lies in the 11th position with 28 points as BUL FC is 10th with 30 points.

Hamis Tibita replaced Fred Agandu in the 77th minute but this change never yielded any result since Issa Ssekitoleko, Joseph Othieno and Emma Egau looked organised in the defence.
