Vipers SC have loaned defender Jacob Okao to UPDF FC for the rest of the 2021/22 season.
Okao will now feature for Brian Ssenyondo coached side until the end of the season.
The young defender made his Vipers debut during a Uganda Premier League game against Kyetume FC in January, 2020.
Okao is a St.Mary’s Kitende product the feeder of the Vipers senior team.
He played a key role as St.Mary’s Kitende won both Copa Coca-cola and FEASSA titles in 2019.
At UPDF FC, he is expected to get the needed playing time.
His departure comes at a time when Vipers have signed both Bob Olouch and Hilary Mukundane during the current transfer window.
UPDF FC are currently 9th on the Uganda Premier League with 19 points they garnered in the first round of the season.
