Venue : Bombo Barracks grounds

UPDF will continue with their fight for safety when they welcome BUL FC at Bombo Barracks grounds. It is a must win contest for the army side whereas the Jinja outfit extend their proximity from the drop zone.

The hosts are on an agonizing aftermath of a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Express courtesy of Michael Birungi and Zimula Jalil goals.

BUL on the other hand come in this contest after a 1-1 stalemate with Kirinya Jinja SS in the Jinja derby.

UPDF are currently 14th placed on the AUPL table with 25 points they have accumulated in 25 games played, whereas their opponents BUL are sitting in 10th position on 30 points.

BUL won the first round encounter at Kakindu Stadium 2-0, thanks to goals from Richard Wandyaka and Pierre Kambale Muhindo

BUL head coach Kefa Kisala returns after serving his three match club suspension. During Kisala’s suspension, David Kiwanuka ‘Tirika’ has been in the dugout and he has drawn twice and lost once in the three games he has managed.

The army side will be without Isaa Mubiru through injury while Sulaiman Majanjaro returns in the squad after serving his suspension.
Joseph Janjali, Denis Sekitoleko and Mustafa Dongo will be entrusted to make things happen for the hosts.

BUL will miss the services of William Otongo, Hannington Sebwalunyo and Mike Ndera through various injuries. Daniel Shabene, James Otim and Hamis Tibita are expected to give the Jinja based side a lift.

Victory for UPDF can see them move out of the relegation zone whereas a win for BUL will propel them to 7th place leapfrogging current occupants Police
