UPDF FC have approached Fred Kajoba and his representatives in a move that will see the national goalkeeping coach return to Bombo where he made a name as a player and coach.
This website can reliably confirm that the management of the army side is in negotiations with the Uganda Cranes goalkeeping coach for the vacant head coaching role.
The management of the army side believes that Kajoba’s experience will help the club to immediately deliver its objectives.
Kajoba is currently unemployed following his resignation at Vipers in May this year.
In case the deal materialises, the former Bright Stars tactician will replace Kefa Kisala who was sacked at UPDF FC last week.
Kajoba coached the army side (Simba) before he switched to Bright Stars in November 2014.
Kisala had replaced Steven Bogere at helms of the army side at the start of the just concluded season.
Kajoba guided Vipers SC to their fourth league triumph during the 2019/20 season and also helped Bright Stars reach the 2018/19 Uganda Cup final.
