UPDF confirm Brian Senyondo as Kisala’s replacement

The youthful tactician has previously managed at Synergy FC and Mbarara city

UPDF FC have appointed former Mbarara City coach Brian Ssenyondo as their new head coach.

The army side confirmed the development on Monday morning at their headquarters in Bombo.

Ssenyondo replaces Kefa Kisala who was sacked by UPDF last week.

The former Mbarara City tactician has put pen to paper on a two year employment contract with UPDF FC.

He has also been unemployed since he left Mbarara City in March this year.

Ssenyondo’s assistants at the army side are yet to be revealed.

The army side were also interested in former Vipers SC and Uganda Cranes goalkeeping coach Fred Kajoba’s services.

In the just concluded season, UPDF FC finished 8th placed on the Uganda Premier League log with 37 points.
