For the 2021/22 season, there will not be a winner between UPDF FC and SC Villa after the two sides played to a boring stalemate again.

The reverse fixture in the first round at Njeru ended 0-0 too.

Villa who visited Bombo without a number of their key starters were in fact the better side in the early stages of the match.

There was no Travis Mutyaba amd neither did captain Meddie Kibirige make the squad, the later was however not missed as Senkooto recorded another clean sheet.

The duo joined on loan from KCCA FC and Vipers SC respectively.

Villa’s patchy form on the road continued to manifest itself with a 3rd draw out of 8 matches played on the road. They have only won once and lost 4 times.

The point earned for UPDF helps them consolidate 9th place with 20 points but it extends their winless streak to five games.

Villa.move a place above Police FC who lost to Arua Hill last evening. The Jogoos are now 10th with 17 points.

UPDF will vist Police FC for their next league outing on the 10th of January whereas Villa will return to action on the 15th of January against Soltilo Bright Stars.
