City Oilers who have a piled fixture of game after game with no rest, showed no mercy to the soldiers who were trailing 19-43 at half time.
Otim Jonah and Juuko Daniel both scored 15 points while Drileba Tonny scored 14 a point more than UPDF ‘s Muhumuza Moses who scored the same number of points as Otim and Juuko, 15.
Oilers have now won 2 out of their 3 consecutive match days losing one to Pemba Warriors yet they will have to over look all finished fixtures as they take on JKL Dolphins to night at YMCA at 19:00.
JKL will look to painting a better picture against Oilers who they shamefully lost to 37-73. Oilers who had Stephen Omony and Chuma Joseph firing in 12 poits as well as Ndikumana Landry on 11 while both Enabu Jimmy and Omondi Geofrey scored 10 each, seemed too much for the Dolphins.
In other results of the evening, Our Savior out muscled 9 placed StarTimes Falcons in a 71-54 win.
Daniel Monoja scored the highest number of points in the game, 18 while Falcons’ Navi Owori managed to score 17 though they weren’t any close to saving Falcons a defeat.
The loss put Falcons in a hard place fighting relegation with, JKL Dolphins, UPDF and Nkumba Marines who sits bottom with the least number of wins, 3.
