UNF names squad for Invitational Men’s Netball championship

The Uganda Netball Federation Technical Committee has released a 26man squad to begin residential training at Kampala University starting on the 20th August 2021 to 7th September.

The team is in preparation for the International Male Netball Championship to be held in Pretoria, South Africa on 14th-18th September 2021.

The invitational tournament will be hosted by South Africa, it is expected to have at least eight teams of which six have confirmed participation which are South Africa (host nation), Uganda, Pakistan, Kenya, Zimbabwe, Action Netball (South Africa), Department of Correctional Services (South Africa).

The tournament will help in Preparation for Inaugural Africa National Male Netball Cup slated to be hosted by Morocco in March 2022.

Kawaooya Kiwanuka Vincent will be the interim head coach as the team prepares for Championship in South Africa.

The 26man squad will start residential training on Friday at Kampala University, Ggaba Campus.
