Umaru Kasumba became the first player to win the SportPesa monthly award twice this season.
The Sofapaka marksman was named player of the month for April on Friday at Eastleigh secondary school in Nairobi.
This was his second accolade after achieving the same feat for the month of February.
Kasumba has been firing on all cylinders managing seven goals in April and keeping the Batoto Ba Mungu's unsuccessful title charge alive.
The former SC Villa and Police FC striker has already garnered himself an invite a three-week trial from German 3-Liga side FSV Zwikwau between 7th - 28th June.
To win the player of the month award, Kasumba beat competition from AFC Leopards' Whyvonne Isuza, Allan Wanga of Kakamega Homeboyz and Ulinzi Stars' Enosh Ochieng.
The Ugandan striker is also in contention for the Kenya Premier League golden boot having scored 17 goals, one behind Allan Wanga who leads the scorers' chart with two games to the league climax.
