Uganda’s slump in the FIFA rankings continues

Following a barren stalemate with Taifa Stars of Tanzania on 8th September at Mandela National Stadium Namboole, Uganda has slumped from the 82nd position to 83rd in the FIFA World rankings.

The FIFA rankings released on Today (Thursday) morning indicate that Uganda has 1289 points from 1296 it had in the month of August.

Tunisia is the best ranked African country lying in the 23rd position with 1503 points.

Belgium joint tops the rankings with the World Cup winners France on 1729 points for the first ever. Brazil comes third with 1663 points.

Uganda Cranes will be back in AFCON 2019 qualifier on 13th and 16th October against Lesotho in the Group L double header.
