Ugandan starlet joins Somali outfit

Former Spartans FC striker Brian Mugisha has joined Somalian Army side Horseed FC on a two year contract deal after spending two weeks on trials.

Founded in 1967, Horseed FC are seven league champions of the Somalian League hosting their games at Banadir Stadium which has a seating capacity of 15,000 people.

After putting pen on paper Mugisha believes it is now that he has to work hard so that he can achieve his goals,

“It is a pleasure to have got this opportunity and I believe this has come at the right time, I am here to work hard help my club achieve it’s goals my time is now.”

” I am very grateful to everybody who has helped me at all times, my managers and Spartans family have really done a great job” he added.

He has played 5 friendly games with his new home and managed 5 goals managing a hat-trick against Mogadishu United.

Mugisha previously played for Katale soccer club, Katale Artland( now defunct), ST Lawrence University and Spartans FC.
