Ugandan left back Ronald Nkonge has joined Zambian giants Nkana FC on a one year contract.
Nkonge left Uganda Premier League side Soltilo Bright Stars after his employment contract expired at the end of last season.
The roving left back has been training with the Kitwe based giants before he was officially unveiled this week.
Nkonge will become the third Ugandan to play for Nkana in the last decade after striker Tony Odur (2014) and defender Shafik Bakaki (2019).
Nkonge joined Soltilo Bright Stars at the start of the 2019-20 season from Kampala Junior Team (KJT).
He also played for Gomba in the Masaza Cup tournament.
Nkana FC are the record champions in the Zambian League having won the league title on 13 occasions.
Last season, Nkana survived relegation on the last day of the campaign despite featuring in the CAF Confederation Cup.
