Ugandan duo joins Tanzanian top-flight club

Ugandan players Cleo James Ssetuba and Joseph Zziwa have signed for Tanzanian Premier League side Biashara United on Thursday 20th August.

The duo signed employment contracts of two years each with the Musoma city based club.

Zziwa is a center back who has been signed as a free agent after being released by Express Football Club two months ago.

Ssetuba is a goalkeeper who has previously played for URA FC, Bright Stars FC, Nyamityobora FC, Wakiso Giants and had a brief stint in Kenya.

 

Biashara United Football Club finished the 2019-20 season in the Tanzania Premier League with 50 points from 38 games.

The Tanzanian top-flight league is also home to Ugandan players; Nicolas Wadada (Azam FC), Boban Zirintusa (Mtibwa Sugar) and Jackson Kibirige (Kagera Sugar).
