Uganda to take part at the 2nd Africa Woodball Championship

The Uganda Woodball Federation has confirmed participation in the 2nd Africa Woodball Championship that will be held in Kenya.

The event is organized by the Africa Woodball Federation and will run from November, 3rd to 8th, 2021 at the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology in Nairobi.

During the same event, the Kenyan Woodball Federation will host the 5th edition of the Kenya International Open Woodball Championship.

The other countries that have confirmed participation are Burundi, Tanzania, Zambia, Democratic Republic of Congo and hosts Kenya.

At the Kenya International Open, teams such as Uganda National Examination Board, Bank of Uganda, Makerere University Business School, Lwengo Woodball Association, Ndejje University, Stroke Woodball club, Bugema University will represent Uganda.

Meanwhile, Uganda who are the defending champions at the Africa Woodball Championship will be represented by a strong team of 8 Athletes (4 men and 4 women) and three officials.
