It has been confirmed that the Uganda Hippos (U-20) will face Kenya in the semi-final of the ongoing AFCON U-20 qualifiers in Tanzania.
Uganda will take on Kenya on Monday 30th November at noon at the Black Rhino Academy (Karatu) in Arusha.
The winner of the duel will not only qualify for the final but also automatically book a place in the AFCON U-20 final tournament to be held in February next year in Mauritania.
Uganda topped Group B with four points from two games played while South Sudan came second with the same point but an inferior goal difference.
The Morley Byekwaso coached team beat Burundi 6-1 and drew 0-0 with South Sudan on Wednesday and Monday respectively.
Kenya topped Group C with maximum points after beating Ethiopia (3-0) and Sudan (2-1).
South Sudan will face hosts Tanzania who led Group A with six points and 14 goals scored.
The tournament serves as a qualifier for the AFCON U-20 tournament where the best four performing teams earn a ticket to the FIFA U-20 World Cup.
