Kajjansi United head coach Moses Ssenyonga “Jjaja Moze” is confident his side can eliminate another UPL club from the Stanbic Uganda Cup.

This follows draws of the round of 32 held on Monday that pittted the Buganda Regional League club against SC Villa.

Ssenyonga says his side has the capacity to make it to the next round at the expense of SC Villa.

” SC Villa is a club with a great profile and we respect them but they should be aware of what we are capable of. We won’t be an easy ride so they should come knowing that.”

” As usual, we are going to give in our best on that day. I believe we have what it takes to defeat them.” Ssenyonga asserts.

Kajjansi United eliminated title favourites Vipers SC in the previous round courtesy of a penalty shoot out that saw goalkeeper Michael Kagiri save Umar Kyebatala’s penalty.

” We ride on the confidence we get from our 12th player – The fans who I know will come in big numbers again.”

Michael Male scored for Kajjansi United before Fahad Bayo equalised for Vipers in the second half and forced a penalty shoot out where the former emerged 8-7 victors.

The game between Kajjansi United and SC Villa will be played at Wankulukuku with the date expected to be determined very soon.
