UGANDA CUP : Express cruise, Dove register biggest win

The round of 64 of the 45th edition of the Stanbic Uganda Cup officially climaxed on Sunday with eight fixtures.

Express FC registered a 3-0 victory over Regional League side St Mary’s Nabweru at Wankulukuku thanks to goals Frank Ssenyondo, Disan Galiwango and Doca Mweru.

Big League side Dove FC registered the biggest win of the round – a 5-0 over New Villa at the Katusabe grounds in Masindi.

Jesse Kajuba and Ronald Kirumira grabbed a brace each while Johnson Tusubira scored the other.

Fourth tier side Spartans FC eliminated Big League side Paidha Black Angels with a 1-0 victory thanks to Johnnie Mugweri.

Luweero United also eliminated Big League side Dove All Stars 3-1 on penalties kicks after a barren draw at normal time.

MYDA were 3-1 winners on penalties over Gadaffi FC in Jinja following a 0-0 normal time draw.

Bukedea Town Council edged Kigezi FC 1-0 in Kabale, Kataka defeated Kampala University 1-0 in Luweero while Water overcame U-Touch on penalties

The eight complete the 32 teams that have qualified for the Round of 32.
