Uganda Cricket Association appoints Edgar Kazibwe as Sports Psychologist

The Uganda Cricket Association has appointed Edgar Kazibwe as the Sports Psychologist for an initial period of six months.

Kazibwe will immediately start his duties and his task will be to improve on the performance of the National teams (both men and women) including the Junior teams.

The Uganda Cricket Association CEO Martin Ondeko confirmed the development on Tuesday 7th, July in a press release

UCA is very excited about the partnership with equity sports to have a psychologist for the National teams.” Certainly there’s going to be positive change in the mind sets of players to bring the desired results on and off the field.” Stated Ondeko

For starters, at the end of last month UCA confirmed the appointment of Lawrence Mahatlane as the Uganda Cricket Cranes head coach.

The South African replaced Steve Tikolo who resigned from the role at the end of last year.
