Uganda cranes will face off with the Madagascar A-Team in a practice match on Wednesday 4th, October at Startimes Stadium Lugogo ahead of the world cup qualifier tie against the black stars of Ghana.
The National football A-Team of Madagascar flew in their foreign based players yesterday ahead of this encounter.
According to FUFA communications and media officer Ahmed Hussein says the match is intended to help the coach test his players technical ability and mental strength,
“The match will help Uganda cranes coach Moses Basena test the technical ability and mental strength of his players ahead of the crucial encounter with Ghana on Saturday at Mandela national stadium. We believe Madagascar have the quality to give our team a good preparation.”
He also confirmed the match on Wednesday is closed from the public apart from those who have purchased the discounted ticket,
“This is a match that is closed from the Public, but only fans who have purchased the discounted tickets that are still on market until 5pm today. The same ticket will give them access for the Ghana game on Saturday at Namboole Stadium.”
Uganda will take on Ghana BLACK STARS in the world qualifiers on 7th October at Mandela National stadium.
