Uganda Cranes to play a practice match against Egyptian top flight Tala’ea El Gaish

In a bid to prepare for the last game of Group L AFCON 2019 qualifier, Uganda Cranes is set to play Egyptian top tier club Tala’ea El Gaish in Egypt before flying off to Tanzania.

The game will be played on Wednesday 20th March 2019 at 5:30pm in Egypt.

It is the second build up match having played Kampala Select on Saturday 16th- March at StarTimes Stadium Lugogo where Sebastian Desabre’s men won 4-0.

23 players are already in camp in Egpyt with only Farouk Miya yet to arrive.

Desabre believes this build up match will help them a lot as regards upping the fitness of the players.

Uganda Cranes have already qualified, leading the table with 13 points, this leaves the rest of the teams with chance to qualify, Lesotho and Tanzania 5 points and Cape verde.
