Uganda Cranes striker joins Czech Republic club

Ugandan striker Edrisa Lubega has officially been unveiled by Czech Republic club Pribram FK.

Lubega has joined Pribram on a one and half year loan deal and will don shirt number 29.

He sent his previous season at Paide Linnameeskond in Estonia on loan from Proline and scored 14 league goals from 26 games. He also scored nine goals in the Cup competitions.

His impressive goal scoring record garnered him interest from Pribram a side that competes in the Czech Republic top-flight league.

Pribram FK host their league games at the Na Litavce Stadium. They are 17th on the table of 18 teams with 12 points from 20 games.

Lubega could make his debut when Pribram host Slovan Librerec on Saturday 6th February.

Pribram will be Lubega’s fourth club on European soil. He first featured for Floridsdorfer Athletic Club and Ried SV both in Austria.

He becomes the second Ugandan player in Czech Republic the other being Isaac Muleme who features for Viktoria Zizkov in the second tier league.
