UFL: IUEA rally from a goal down to stun two-time champions KU

Abraham Saudi scored a late brace as International University of East Africa came from behind to beat Kampala University 2-1 in the group C encounter of the Pepsi University Football league on Wednesday.

Kimwero Shamil had given the visitors the lead in the 21st minute before the home side rallied back to their maiden victory.

Kampala University were the dominant and looked more threatening in the opening half of the contest.

In the second half, the home side gained momentum and leveled matters in the 76 minute through Abraham before he completed the comeback in the 81st minute.

During the game, KU head coach Tumusiime Vincent was sent off.

IUEA duo of Muhoozi Akwankwa, Sani Osman Musa were cautioned while Omirambe Brian and Cwombe Wilberforce were also booked on the visitors side.
