UCU and KCCA lose, Power bows out as Oilers make it to the Finals.

Kcca Leopards saw another defeat in the tournament at the hand of Kenyan side KPA. Kcca looked inferior with lots of fouls leaving them trailing 12:17 in the 1st quarter.
Kcca went on trailing, 18:33 and 33:55 in the 2nd and 3rd quarter respectively. Kcca went on to lose 58:82 with Betty Kananu scoring 25 points and Amosding scoring 15. Kcca’ s final game will be against UCU.

Another Ugandan side tasted its first defeat in a tight game that looked in their way. UCU who hadn’t lost a game were against another undefeated Kenyan side, Equity. The Mukono based side went into half time leading 34-31 and maintained their lead through the early stage of the 3rd quarter on 52:51.

However Equity rebuilt and came back stronger leading 68:59 2 minutes left in the fourth quarter. UCU lost 66:74 leaving Equity as the only unbeaten side in the Women’s category. Odhiambo scored 25, Wanyama and Aceng on 20 and Lukwamire scoring 18. Kcca last game will be another Ugandan side UCU.

In the men’s category, defending champions Oilers saw them selves in a back to back final after eliminating Kenya`s KPA. Oilers showed great hunger from the start leading 21:14 in the 1st quarter ,Jimmy Enabu scoring 9 of the 21.

The game got more tense as Pegues got rejected in the 2nd quarter but that didn’t break Oilers’ dominance as Ocitti ran the show putting Oilers in a 40:23 lead. The kenyana tried to get back into the game as they once reduced the gap to 3points in the last quarter, however Landry killed all their hopes when he put Oilers 73:65 and that was it.

Oilers will play Patriots in the finals after the Rwandan side stopped Betway Power ‘s dream.
