UBF introduces Shadow Boxing Challenge with Shs 2.5M cash prize

Several sporting activities have globally been affected for the last three months due to the terrible Coronavirus pandemic.

The Uganda Boxing Federation (UBF) has introduced the Shadow Boxing Challenge Uganda that will be open to everyone.

UBF has called upon participants to make full use of their social media platforms, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

The Challenge will be used to keep Boxers and fans actively engaged in game of Boxing and also used to give back to the communities through prize money for best performers.

The Shadow Boxing Challenge Uganda

A total of Shs 2,500,00 is up for grabs with the winner taking Shs 1000,000, second placed will earn 750,000, third will get 500,000 and fourth will smile with Shs 250,000.

How to take part in the challenge that will run from 15th-19th June;

Step One : Every participant will have to record a 30 seconds video clip with a combination of different techniques and punches. This includes the Jabs, Hook punch (left and right), Uppercut and footwork.

Step Two : Like the UBF Facebook page and post your Video on their timeline and on Instagram and twitter.

Step Three : The winner will be decided by public which will contribute to 40% and the UBF technical committee will make the final decision.
