UGANDA vs SOUTH SUDAN

The Uganda U-20 national team will play hosts to their south Sudanese counterparts at Lugogo in the first leg of the U-20 Africa Nations cup qualifiers.
Matia Lule declared all members of the team he summoned for this encounter fit and ready to play with exception of Ibrahim Thembo who is out with a muscle pull and Ivan Eyam whose passport wasn’t issued in time for this game. He said;
” I believe in team work and we have prepared every individual on the team for the task. All my players are ready except Ibrahim Thembo who got a muscle pull and Ivan Eyam whose passport wasn’t issued in time for the game”.
The South Sudanese will rely on Johnson Jok who turns out for Kenyan outfit Tusker FC.
“We have the intensity and experience needed to go past the South Sudanese”. said Julius Poloto
Julius Poloto is the new Uganda’s team captain after former captain Shaban Muhammad was elevated to a more senior team the U-23. He will be assisted by defender Mustafa Mujuzi.
The return leg of this encounter will be played in Juba on 21st April, 2018.
