Head coach Bulega welcomes the regional tour initiative with open hands and hopes to shape her squad for future engagements.

” We kicked off the training very well and I am happy with the quality of the team. The regional tour is aimed at creating awareness about the team in the masses as well as keeping the players active.” She said

The regional tour match will also be a prep for Uganda ahead of the 2020 Women’s Olympic qualifier against Ethiopia in Addis Ababa on April 3rd.

This was the first the Crested Cranes were regrouping since the COSAFA Women’s championship held in South Africa last year in September.
