Both teams come in this encounter having regained their winning touch with Onduparaka breaking Mbarara City unbeaten home run at Kakyeka Stadium in a game which ended 2-1 courtesy of skipper Toha Rashid’s header and Ceaser Okhuti’s strike putting an end to their 7 match winless streak.

The Venoms defeated Bright Stars at St Mary’s Stadium Kitende 3-0 with goals scored by Steven Mukwala, Tito Okello and defender Halid Lwaliwa.

The reverse fixture at Kitende saw the hosts win 3-0 with goals being scored by Geoffrey Wasswa, Livingston Mulondo and Dan Mzee Sserunkuma.

Vianne Ssekajugo, Nicholas Sebwato and Toha Rashid have to be at their best to inspire the hosts to their 2nd win over the Venoms ever since they joined top flight as they are missing out Denis Okot ( suspension), Ceaser Okhuti and Rashid Okocha are sidelined with injuries.

Dan Mzee Sserunkuma returns having missed out in the last game this will see Micheal Nam Ouma put his trust Tito Okello and Fabien Mutombora lead his side as they target their maiden win from Green Light Stadium Arua but midfielder Moses Waiswa continues to be sidelined.

A win will move the Caterpillars from 6th where they are with 31 points to 4th incase a fixture between KCCA and URA go in their favour as they also wait for BUL FC to play Nyamityobora FC on Wednesday 27th at Kakyeka Stadium.

The Venoms who are 2nd with 41 points 4 points behind table leaders KCCA will target maximum points to keep their tittle hopes high.
