Uganda Premier League side Soltilo Bright Stars have signed offensive midfielder Jamir Nvule Kisitu from FUFA Big League outfit Kitara FC.

Nvule Kisitu has signed a three year contract with the Mwererwe based outfit as preparations for the forthcoming season intensify.

Nvule played a starring role in Kitara FC’s campaign last season scoring five goals and registering a number of assists.

He is a former Kiboga Young and Kampala University player and had a brief stint at Onduparaka FC at the start of the previous season. He also played for Ssingo and Buwekula in the Masaza Cup.

Nvule can ably play as a support striker, a winger on either flanks and as an offensive midfielder with a knack of creativity and an eye for goal.

Prior to the move to Soltilo Bright Stars, Nvule was linked to a move to SC Villa while Kitara FC also hoped to retain him for yet another season.

Nvule joins former KCCA former forward Samuel Sekamatte Kayongo, defender Ibrahim Kibumba and Hippos forward Saddam Masereka as the club’s major signings in the ongoing primary transfer window.

Soltilo Bright Stars have also acquired the youthful trio of Emmanuel Loki, Gabriel Elagu and Marvin Ssemayange.

Defenders Derrick Ngoobi and Andrew Kaggwa have already signed contract extensions while Jamil Kaliisa left for Vipers SC.

Baker Mboowa will serve as the club’s head coach while Simon Peter Mugerwa will be his immediate assistant.

Bright Stars who have now changed their name to Soltilo Bright Stars this week, finished 12th last season with 29 points accumulated from the 25 games played.
