Kirinya Jinja SS has confirmed the acquisition of striker Dan Sewava from Rwanda outfit Gicumbi FC on a two year contract.

Sewava has previously played for Entebbe FC before joining Soana where he worked under Ayiekoh in the 2015-16 season.

He comes to bolster the club’s offensive department and to fill the void left by Musa Esenu whose loan spell from Vipers SC expired at the end of last season.

Right back Allan Drajua has also extended his stay at the Jinja outfit after renewing his contract which had previously expired. He has signed a two year contract extension to put to an end the speculations that have been hovering around his future.

Youngster Vincent Zziwa from the Kirinya Jinja SS Junior team has been officially promoted to the senior team and was subsequently given a two year contract deal.

Kirinya Jinja SS finished 5th on the 16-team log in the 2017-18 season with 43 points.
