2017 Gotv shield holders AFC Leopards have let go of three Ugandan players as they prepare for a new season. The trio includes Allan Kateregga, Musa Mudde and Ramathan Yakubu.
The “Dancing Rasta” will not be part of the Ingwe squad as his contract expires on 31st December. He was loaned out to KCCA after falling out with coach Robert Matano
The former Cranes midfielder was on a return to the Nairobi based outfit after a stint with Bandari, he has also been released after only 6 months.
The gallant center back has been shown exit after two years at the club. He had joined Leopards in January 2016 from the now defunct SC Victoria University.
On the same note, AFC Leopards have signed Ugandan offensive midfielder Ramathan Kibirango from Nkumba University on a two year contract.
Kibirango put pen to paper few hours after the Nairobi based outfit had captured the services of left footed compatriot Baker Lukooya from Soana FC.
Kibirango who was also on the radar of Kakamega Homeboyz early this year, is expected to bolster Leopards attacking force because of his keen eye for goal. He also joins new signings Ezekiel Odera, Ezekiel Owade, Ezekiel Otuoma Brian Marita and Yusuf Mainge
AFC Leopards will kick off the new season with a Super Cup clash against league holders Gor Mahia on 28th January 2018.
