TRANSFERS: Kajjansi United confirm striker Mbowa as first signing

Buganda Regional League club Kajjansi United have confirmed striker Umar Mbowa as their first signing in the ongoing transfer window.

Mbowa has signed a contract of one year with the Kajjansi based club.

The bully striker has previously played for Kira United and Kireka United. He also features for Mpindi Clan in the Bika Byabaganda Football Tournament.

Moses Ssenyonga, the Kajjansi United coach believes Mbowa’s experience will be vital as his side continues to pursuit for a Big League promotion,

“Mbowa is a good player with a lot of experience. We believe in his qualities as a player. He will be vital in our fight for the FUFA Big League promotion.”

Kajjansi United, also nicknamed as The Potters, finished second in Katonga Group with 31 points, three behind table leaders Buwambo United and ultimately failed to make it to the playoffs when the league was called off.
