TRANSFERS : Express embark on pursuit for Sadam Juma’s signature

Express FC are interested in signing midfielder Sadam Ibrahim Juma “Nature”, Swift Sports understands.

Sadam Juma is currently a free agent following the expiration of his employment contract at KCCA FC.

Sources indicate that Express FC officials have already kick started negotiations with Sadam for a possible return to the Wankulukuku based side.

The artistic midfielder was Express’ team skipper in the 2016-17 campaign before he unceremoniously left to join KCCA towards the end of the season.

His three year stint at KCCA has been hampered by incessant injuries limiting him to less playing time. It is a public secret that the out of contract midfielder is not in the plans of Mike Mutebi’s 2020/21 plans.

He is known for his outstanding vision, pinpoint accurate passing, superb reading of the game, positional sense, creates chances and dictates the flow of play in midfield.

Sadam Juma is a graduate of Kampala Kids League and has previously featured for Cray Wanderers in the Isthmian league of England, Bunamwaya FC now Vipers SC (first stint 2009- 2011), Vietnamese First Division club Sài Gòn Xuân Thành whom he helped gain promotion to the V league.

He returned to Vipers for a second stint (2014-16) helping them to win the 2014/15 league title and the 2016 Uganda Cup trophy before joining Express FC and lately KCCA FC.

At KCCA FC, he won the 2018/19 league title and Uganda Cup in 2018 as well as representing the club at both CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup.

Sadam Juma has 12 National team caps with three goals to his name, the central midfielder also played Old Kampala Secondary School featuring in the 2008 National Post Primary Competition.
