Kansai Plascon missed an opportunity to go top of the Rwenzori group when they were held by Kiboga young.
The visitors were unlucky not to nick an early lead when Plascon defender Najib Gwayido Tusaba fouled Peter Lomolo in the forbidden area, hitman Kisitu Nvule Jamil however failed to convert from 12 yards.
Kansai Plascon pressed hard and towards the end of the first period, Micheal Bugembe scored through a long range shot
Brian Mugume put the game to level in the second half by heading home past helpless Zachariah Nsubuga.
Coach Felix Ssekabuza Kawooya of Kiboga Young commended his players for the fighting spirit that saw them grab a point away from home,
“It has not been an easy game but team work helped us a lot to grab a point from a good side a point away from home will always be good for a visiting team.”
“We are going back train hard as we focus on our next game after all it will be home we will be targeting maximum points.”
Both teams stay in their respective positions Kansai Plascon 2nd with 28 points 1 point behind table leaders Proline FC and Kiboga Young 3rd with 26 points.
Kansai Plascon will play against Kabale Sharp in Kabale in a two weeks time.
Kiboga Young will be back in action on 7th- March against Kabale Sharp at Bamusuta grounds.
