Top Boy officially joins Boxing Promotion

Top Boy Promotions has officially been launched today at UPBC offices, Mukwano mall and also becomes the seventh licensed Promotions company that is affiliated to the Uganda Professionals Boxing Commission.

The new Promotion company paid one million and two hundred thousand Shillings to scoop a promotion license for the next three years.

Uganda Professionals Boxing Commission President Salim Uhuru while handling the licence to the promotion company at Mukwano mall was full of praise towards the Top Boy Promotions company.

“I am excited to see that the sport has managed to get more promoters and as the commission we are delighted to see Top Boy Promotions. I thank them for making a tremendous job towards the Boxing fraternity and I am hopeful that this will bring more competition to the area of promotion.”

Top Boy Promotions director Philip Munaabi thanked UPBC for giving them an opportunity to serve Boxing and promised to give support to the Boxers to see that they live a great life even during retirement.

“I have had some experience in organizing events, but my major focus is on the Boxers welfare to see that even during their retirement they live a better life.”

“We have a lot of connections with many Promotion companies around the globe. I believe other companies come board to give promotion to the sport, it will be great for the Boxing fraternity.”

“I am thankful that I am joining the Boxing family as a promoter to see that the sport becomes great again.”

Top Boy joins Big Strikers international, Step by Step and Bundle Bundle as some of the other promotion companies that are fully registered with the UPBC.
