Mike Kawooya and Steven Omvia were on the score sheet for Wasswa Bbosa’s charges to put to an end on the club’s 7 match winless streak.

Omvia powered Tooro United in the lead with a header of a Simon Serunkuma delivery as early as the 8th minute.

Youngster Charles Musiige levelled matters for Asaph Mwebaze’s side with a sublime effort moments later.

Gigantic defender Kawooya restored Tooro United’s lead with another header from a Mubiru Issa delivery a minute past the half hour mark.

The win propels Tooro United to the 11th place on 10 points ahead of their subsequent fixture against Mbarara City next Tuesday at Kakyeka.

The result brings Nyamityobora’s losing streak to 4 matches to remain 15 placed with only 4 points in 10 games, the same number collected by the bottom placed Paidha Black Angels.

Mwebaze and his men will seek to make amends when they pay a visit to Luzira to take on Maroons FC on Tuesday 11th December.
