TOORO UNITED VS KCCA: Defending champions dare Tooro’s resilience at home

Tooro United will entertain defending champions KCCA FC on Wednesday evening at St. Paul’s Seminary Grounds in Fort Portal.

KCCA FC come into this after the CAF Champions league exit at the hands of Petro de Luanda last week.

This is the first game that Wasswa Bbosa’s side is hosting at their new home this season after being cleared from the licensing committee

Tooro United has so far played five games and garnered six points whereas KCCA FC has only played two games this season, registering victories on both occasions against Wakiso Giants and Busoga United.

The last league contest between the two sides ended in a one all stalemate at Buhinga grounds in Fort Portal

In the previous four meetings between the two sides, KCCA FC has won 8, Tooro United 3 and three games have ended in stalemates

The trio of Keziron Kizito, Sam Ssenyonjo and Nigerian striker John Odumegwu are likely to make their debuts for the Lugogo outfit.

Steven Sserwadda and Sadat Anaku have been rested following their U20 CECAFA involvement. Mustafa Kizza and Muzamiru Mutyaba will miss the contest due to medical reasons.

The home side will miss the services of Godfrey Lwesibawa through suspension and will heavily rely on Davis Ssali for inspiration.

Allan Okello and Erisa Ssekisambu are expected to fire the visitors to maximum points
