Tooro United overturn first leg defeat over Kataka to advance to the round of 16

Tooro United advanced to the round of 16 of the Stanbic Uganda Cup after their 3-1 victory over Mbale Kataka in the return leg of the round of 32 at the Buhinga Stadium in Fort Portal.

The Tooro outfit lost 1-0 in the first leg at the Mbale Municipal Stadium.

In the second leg, goals from Ponsiano Ssegonja and a brace from Marvin Oshaba sealed a last 16 place for the home side.

Francis Odongo scored the visitors only goal from the spot.

Tooro United progressed to the next round with a 3-2 aggregate score and join Express FC, KCCA FC, Wakiso Giants, Police FC, Vipers SC, Maroons FC, BUL FC and Onduparaka FC.
