Tooro United assistant coach resigns from his role


Denis Kizito has resigned from his duties as the assistant head coach at newly promoted Uganda Premier League side Tooro United.

Kizito who was the assistant head coach to Edward Golola has confirmed his resignation to this website.

“I have resigned from the role of being the assistant head coach at Tooro United with immediate effect.”

“It has been a great experience working with the winning side but I can not continue any longer with a side where every thing at the club is not clear.”

The former Kajjansi United head coach added.

He has previously worked with Buganda Region League side Kajjansi United as the head coach, Tooro United as assistant head coach.

In the prestigious Masaza Cup tournament Kizito also worked with Buvuma, Mawokota and record champions Gomba.

By the end of the FUFA Big League season, Tooro United was topping Rwenzori group with 31 points from 14 games and automatically gained top flight promotion.
