Tooro United and Paidha Black Angels settle for a point in Arua

Zombo based side Paidha Black Angels and Tooro United played to a barren stalemate on match day 4 at Green Light Stadium Arua.

Paidha have earned their 4th point of the season before relocating to Luo Stadium, which will be their new home.

Simon Okwir came close to giving Tooro United an early lead in the 3rd minute only to be denied chance by John Kalumba the man in between the posts of the Blacks.

It was a game of no serious action as both sides created no serious attacks which could lead to a break through.

Davis Ssali and Simon Okwi’s chances got were not the best to help Bossa’s side maximise the points.

Paidha Black Angels strikers led by veteran striker Yuda Mugalu failed to break through the defenders led by Isa Lumu.

Paidha Angels coach Mohammed Kisekka applauded his team for the point earned and he expects them to build on that.

“It is unfortunate that despite targeting a win we didn’t get it but amidst the so many challenges we have in in the team especially having few licenses we managed to get a point.”

“I am going to build on this point and work hard on sharpening my attacking midfielders and strikers and am so hopeful for a win though we are playing away.

Tooro United is 10th with 4 points and a point temporarily moves Paidha Black Angels to 11th on the same number of points

Tooro United will play Express FC next on Tuesday 30th October at Muteesa II Stadium Wankulukuku as their opponents Paidha Black Angels will be visiting Ndejje University on the same date.
