URA head coach Sam Timbe has made a pensive revelation as to why tacticians shout to their players on the touchline in the thick of action.

This evening, URA FC beat Ethiopian Coffee FC 3-1 away from home to emerge victors with an aggregate score of 5-2 and ultimately seal a place in the next round of the CAF Confederation cup preliminary stages.

When responding to a question from the club media on how he managed to earn the feat, the experienced tactician said.

” I am very grateful that my players followed all the instructions that we set them and once they did, they knew what to do next” .

“I kept on reminding them on the touchline because when you explain and don’t direct them of what to do, they get off track due to the intensity of the game” .

Timbe revealed.

“Even the more superior teams like in the English premier league, coaches like Guardiola are always on the touchline sending instructions and reminding his players of what to do.

The URA FC tactician commended his team for a disciplined performance and he tips them to go far in the competition.

“We played a disciplined game where we allowed them to build from their half and when they got to our half, we tackled them. When they came to our side, we had to press them and outnumber them.

“We now need to work hard and go as high as possible because every step the team goes, the more money and that is good for the players, the technical team and the executives”.

URa will now have to beat Egyptian club Al Masry in another home and away duel to determine who qualifies for the group stages of this years edition of the CAF Confederation cup.

Al Masry were exempted from the first preliminary round by virtue of their superior coefficient in CAF competitions. The two will face off on a date between 15th and 17th of October for the first leg.
