Tibita bags a brace as BUL FC outshines stubborn Maroons FC

Hamis Tibita produced a good Performance as Bul edge 2-0 against Sturbon Maroons

Bul needed 3 minutes to break the deadrock through Hamis Tibita’s header from Douglas Owori’s volley

Maroons tried to cool the pressure with more possession but nothing yielded as they only attempted one chance in half time from Abdul Senyonga’s effort that hited the woodwork

In 29th minute James Otim had a chance to double the lead from a rebounder but
his shot was gathered by Maroons Custodian Ashadu Bugembe

Bul were awarded a penalty after Sylvester Okello handled the ball in the area, Hamis Tibita stood for it and Ashadu Bugembe was sent opposite side to double Bul lead

Later Maroons tactician Asaph mwebaze was sent off from the touchline after complaining about poor officiation from Centre referee Mpyangu Sirajje and his assistants Sadiq Wasswa.

Bul climbs in 9th position with 33 points accumulated from 27 games. Maroons remains 6th on 35 points

Kefa Kisala’s men will next game play hosts against Bright Stars on 11th May 2018 where as Maroons on Friday 4th against Bright Stars in Luzira
