Assistant coach John Baraza guided Sofapaka to a 3-0 win over Thika United in the Kenyan premier league. Goals from Hilary Echesa and Ugandans Umar Kasumba and Rogers Aloro were enough to seal of victory for the Batoto Ba Mungu.
Sofapaka had no Sam Ssimbwa their head coach on the touchline. Ssimbwa is currently in Uganda because of family programs and will be back in charge of Sofapaka very soon.

Former Sc Villa Striker Umar Kasumba opened up the scoring while Rogers Aloro closed the day tripling the lead after skipper Hillary Achesa made it 2-0.
