Uganda Police Football Club will seek to reclaim leadership on the top of the table with a visit to UPDF FC.

The Cops who lie second on the table with 10 points played to a 3-0 win over Busoga United in their previous game.

UPDF on the other hand fell to a disappointing 1-0 defeat to Kyetume FC in their previous game. Thanks to Mustafa Mujjuzi’s penalty.

The Army side had a superb opening of the season .Winning the first three games of the satisfactorily only to fall short on the fourth. They will be looking to make amends in this game.

The cops will miss the services of Frank Tumwesigye, Dancan Sseninde, Johnson Odong, Musa Matovu and Timothy Oyamo but they will be boosted by the timely return of experienced captain Tonny Mawejje.

Abdallah Mubiru, the Police FC head coach is aware the all forces’ encounter won’t be a walk in the park. Speaking to the club’s official website, he warned that it won’t be an easy game,

“We visit UPDF knowing it is one of the in form teams, It wont be an easy game especially in their backyard.” 



Mubiru also decried the playing surface of UPDF’s ground in Bombo Barracks but was quick to warn that they will be going to compete.

” The most worrying aspect is their plaing ground which is bumpy and not condusive. However, we go there to compete”,

He concluded.
