Out of the possible 18 points, Proline FC has only managed one point with a draw against fellow strugglers Express FC in their previous 6 games.
To Mujub Kasule the Proline head coach this is not the end of the road but he maintains that the fight is still on.
“We have 10 more games to play. It’s still in our hands but the fight is still on so we have to keep going” Said Kasule while speaking to the press after the 1- 0 loss to BUL at home yesterday.
Mujib also said that he isn’t scared of relegation but inspite of the fact that the team’s position is scaring.
“We are not scared of relegation but only the position in which we are. That is football and whoever fears relegation is not a football club.”
” Players keep coming, players going, so other players are here to take up the mantle. You can not stop a player from going to earn some more money because you are afraid of what is going to happen.”
By mid season, Fahad Bayo was Proline’s topscorer with 6 goals but he was sold out to Zambian moneybags Buildcon FC in the January transfer window.
With only 10 games to the end of the season, Proline FC sits in the relegation zone in the 14th position with only 18 points and they have not won a game in the second round of the season.
They will visit the Bright stars FC at Matugga Mwererwe in their next fixture on 13th, March, 2018.
