The big Bulls break loose

By: Nacho Black Armo

There was a time between late 90s and early 2000s when the most dominant forces in Ugandan NBL were Kyambogo Warriors ( now Pemba Warriors), Falcons and Dmark Power ( now Betway Power)..
New teams always tried hard to break this dominance but they were never a success, Pastor Kayanja put in alot for the Miracle Eagles but they never lasted long in the challenge.

City Oilers bursted up from no where and whole theme song changed. Four titles in such a short time, surely they have done themselves well.

Friday 19th,7pm at Lugogo MTN Arena more questions will have to be answered, Betway Power vs City Oilers, yes we are talking about a total of 9 league titles apiece.
The biggest question on the night will be,is Power in position to stop Oilers’ dominance or City Oilers are continuing with their Vibrancy.

Both teams have made new signings but the most eye catching for City Oilers will be Steven Omony who is the current National team Captain.

Power has just unveiled Francis Kasinde and Sula Bbaale on addition to the early signings in Tyrone Martin, Diego Anghemi and Julies Wapera.

City Oilers
Chuma, Deng, Omony, Najja, Tonny, Oteam, Brian, Enabu, Koma, Laundry, Jeff.

Betway Power
Ikong, Mcgyver, Mwaka, Fahmy, Diego, Oduosh, Kojo, Bbaale, Odom, Kikiri, Tyron, Pippen, Shell, Mikey.
