The 2nd edition of the annual Phillip Omondi pre season tournament has been launched today at KCCA FC headquarters Lugogo, the same venue that will host the tournament which will be kicked off on Saturday 2nd 2017.

The tournament whose main objective is to help the participants have a platform to gauge their levels of preparation towards the opening of the new premier league season will see two new faces in Bright stars and Maroons FC who replaced Lweza and Soana.

Defending Champions Proline Fc will kick off against Maroons FC at 2:00pm , and later on in the evening at 4:00 pm, hosts KCCA FC will take on Bright stars.

On Sunday 3rd, Bright stars FC will take on Maroons FC at 2:00 pm and KCCA will conclude the event with a duel against Proline FC at 4:00 pm.

The Organisers will provide a package of 500,000/= to each participating team to supplement their budget during the course of the tournament.

Fans will need to part with 5000/= for ordinary seats and 10,000/= VIP which will be enough to watch the 2 games on each particular day.

The tournament will have some unusual rules, where by every win will be equivalent to 3 points and an extra point will be awarded for every goal scored. Eventual winners shall be awarded with a medals and a trophy.
