The visitors had two goals ruled offside by the second assistant referee. On both occasions, Sadat Anaku was the culprit.

Usama Arafat came close to restoring parity midway into the second half but his effort went wide.

Second half substitute Gift Ali also had his long range effort kiss the woodwork in the closing stages of the contest.

A resilient URA FC defence led by man of the match Farouk Katongole held on to yet another victory over KCCA FC.

Despite their first defeat of the campaign, Morley Byekwaso’s side stay at the summit with 31 points after Vipers slip.

The tax collectors move back into 7th spot with 22 points from 13 games.

KCCA will next take on Onduparaka FC at the start of next month, in their abandoned fixture while URA will face Bright Stars and Busoga United to complete the first round.
