Tanzanian side KMC sack Jackson Mayanja

Tanzanian Premier League side Kinondoni Municipal Council (KMC) have sacked Uganda Cranes and KCCA FC legend Jackson Mayanja ‘Mia Mia’ from his role as head coach.

Mayanja was appointed at the end of June this year on a one year employment contract after guiding Kyetume FC to the Uganda Premier League replacing Etienne Ndayiragije.

During his tenure at the Tanzanian outfit, Mayanja managed eight games, wining two, losing four and the other two ending in stalemates. He leaves the club in 16th position with eight points on a 20 team table.

Mayanja who holds a CAF ‘A’ License has previously served at URA FC, Kiyovu, Bunamwaya ( now Vipers SC), KCCA FC, Kololo SS. He also managed at other Tanzanian clubs, Kagera Sugar, Coastal Union and Simba.

The Ugandan legend also served as assistant coach on the National team for over six year.
