Swedish based striker Bbakka ruled out of South Sudan double header

Uganda Cranes forward Alexis Bbakka will miss the Africa Cup of Nations Qualifier double header against South Sudan through injury.

The Swedish based striker was among the 20 foreign based players who were summoned by Cranes head coach Jonathan Mckinstry last month.

Bbaka has two national team caps and joins Portugal based left back Alex Kakuba and Wycombe’s Uche Mubiru Ikpeazu who are also ruled out of South Sudan contests.

With Bbakka out, Fahad Bayo, Brian Aheebwa, Edrisa Lubega and Emmanuel Okwi are the strikers currently left in Uganda Cranes squad.

Israeli based William Kizito Luwagga, TP Mazembe’s Joseph Ochaya and Ronald Mukiibi of Ostersunds FK in Sweden have joined Derrick Nsibambi, Salim Jamal, Allan Kyambadde, Khalid Aucho, Nicholas Wadada,Emmanuel Okwi, Mike Azira ,Allan Okello, Fahad Bayo ,Timothy Awany, Denis Onyango, Farouk Miya, Elvis Bwomono in Cranes camp.

Uganda will host South Sudan on Thursday 14th November before facing the same opponents in Nairobi Kenya.
