With reports linking him to a move to Tanzania champions Simba SC escalating, a new twist has emerged from Sudan as Al Hilal have intensified their quest to sign Ceaser Manzoki who will be a free agent next month.
The leggy hitman who chose to represent Central African Republic at the expense of his birth nation DR Congo, has scored 18 goals putting him at the apec of the scorers’ charts in the Uganda premier league.
As this website reported last month, Manzoki had turned down Vipers’ offer of 30,000 USD to renew his deal. He signed for Vipers two years ago from AS Vita.
It has been confirmed that Al Hilal have approached Manzoki’s representatives and a bid has been tabled for a possible deal.
Simba were the front runners to sign Manzoki but a few mummers from the club faithfuls in disapproval of the move may also influence the Tanzanians to pull out.
